Soft ceramics

Ylva Wilhelmina Franzén and I initiated a collaborative project in 2015 supported by The Swedish Arts Grants Committee. The purpose of the project was to investigate and explore screen printing on tiles and at the same time seek a new dialogue with our respective materials and artistic expressions in which screen printing is the common denominator.

The result of this collaboration is now an ongoing project where we have developed our own techniques and methods to create textures, colors, prints and shapes of stoneware and porcelain objects, tiles and forms.

Our way of working with the ceramics is both experimental and traditional and we strive to find new paths in the field of craft. We have made several public commissions together since the start.
